Easy to connect outside your pond

You can easily connect the BluClear UV-c device between your pond pump and filter. The device includes a hose grommet for water inflow and hose grommet for water outflow. Thanks to a 5 meter long power cable, it is easy to place at the correct distance.

The BluClear should be set up dry. That means it must be outside your pond. However, the BluClear is resistant to outside weather and wind.

Robust housing, built to last

BluGarda's UV-c devices are built to last. They have a stainless steel housing that is sturdy and robust. Also, the stainless steel housing on the inside helps reflect UV light. This ensures improved performance and effectiveness in fighting algae and microorganisms. In addition, you receive 3 years warranty on the operation of the UV-c device (except the lamp and parts which consist of glass).

Certain of the operation of the UV-c lamp thanks to peephole

The UV-c device contains a peephole through which you can safely check the operation of the device. When the device is working correctly, a blue light will show through the peephole. A UV-c lamp in a UV-c device lasts about 8,000 hours. We recommend replacing the UV-c lamp with a new one after these hours and at least every season to ensure proper operation.

Increased effectiveness thanks to reflective stainless steel housing

The BluClear UV-c devices contain a stainless steel (RVS) housing. The inside of the housing reflects the UV-c light from the lamp. This allows the light to travel further and destroy more algae and microorganisms. The effectiveness of the device is thus more effective.
