The filter foams are squeezed inside the pressure filter, flushing out trapped dirt. Dirty water can be discharged directly to a drain or onto your garden plants via a separate outlet. This prevents dirty and murky water from ending up back in your pond. Once the filter foams are cleaned, simply switch the filter back to filter mode.
